This next song I wrote, um the idea came to me while watching “The Princess and the Frog” and I know it sounds a little silly but I-I wrote it because in the movie there’s a little firefly named Ray who uh, who’s in love with the North Star and he constantly talks about his Evangeline and how wonderful she is, and how perfect she is, and how she’s the brightest thing that he’s ever seen she-she’s like the brightest thing to him in the entire planet. So thinking about that, thinking about the way he feels about the North Star uh there’s a certain someone in my life right now that I feel like that about, and you know he’s right th-they’re the brightest person, the brightest thing in your life; they’re the brightest star that you have. So I decided to express that in the only way I know how (besides well besides all the other stuff I do obviously but) I decided to express it the only way I know how, which is through music to kind of get out the point and this is so she understands and she knows that she’s my Evangeline. So hope you like it.
